SCOTT SALT’S HULA SERIES

Scott Salt (what a great name) is a fantastic Leeds based photographer and you should definitely check out his other work. In this epic series entitled ‘Hoop Dreams’ he worked closely with performer Roxy Storm. The images were produced using nothing but a technique called stroboscopy, photoshop was only used to adjust colour balance.

The series displays such a beautiful union of performance and photographic creativity that can sometimes be forgotten in light of easier contemporary technological advances.
